Tremron Munich Block Wedge

The Tremron Munich Block Wedge is a tapered wall unit engineered specifically for building curved walls, radiused seating walls, circular fire pits, and rounded planter beds. The wedge shape allows blocks to fan out on curves without awkward gaps or excessive cutting — delivering tight, professional-looking radius work straight off the pallet. It's the purpose-built solution for any project where walls need to follow a curve rather than a straight line.

For contractors, the Munich Wedge eliminates the time and waste of cutting standard rectangular blocks on a curve. The tapered geometry is designed so that when blocks are laid side by side on a radius, the joints stay consistent and the face reads as a smooth, continuous arc. That means faster installs, less saw time, and a cleaner finished product. For homeowners, it's the difference between a fire pit that looks manufactured and one that looks custom.

The Munich Block works beautifully for standalone circular features (fire pits, tree rings, rounded seating) and integrates well as a curved transition within larger Tremron wall systems.

  • HOW TO USE

    Installation Tips

    • Lay first course on a compacted gravel base — getting the first ring level and circular is everything
    • For fire pits, work from the inside diameter out — set blocks tight at the inner face and let the taper create the radius naturally
    • Use landscape block adhesive between courses on any structure over 2 courses high
    • Top with a matching wall cap or coping for a finished look and comfortable seating surface
    • For fire pit applications, use a fire-rated steel insert liner — don't expose the concrete block directly to flame long-term
    • Pre-lay the first course dry to confirm your radius and block count before committing with adhesive or base
